Aspiranet REACH Fresno County

Crisis Intervention & Support Counseling

If you are experiencing an immediate crisis, or it is after REACH office hours, please contact Fresno County Mental Health Crisis Line at 1.800.654.3937.

All families experience triumphs and challenges, and families formed through adoption tend to encounter unique challenges as they grow and change. The REACH program is staffed by Master’s level adoption social workers who are trained and familiar with adoption issues. We offer crisis intervention and adoption support counseling free of charge.

Crisis intervention services may include developing safety plans, referrals to behavioral and mental health programs, collaboration with providers, and case management services. Support counseling services support families through adoption-related issues, such as initiating the conversation of adoption with your child, navigating birth family relationships, addressing challenging fear-based behaviors, etc. Participants may include adoptive parents and children, as well as extended family members. To schedule an intake appointment, please call us at 559.222.4969.
