TBRI® Overview Training

Trust-Based Relational Intervention® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention designed to meet the basic relationship and developmental needs of children and youth who have experienced trauma, neglect, or abuse. TBRI® addresses children’s physical needs, attachment needs, and tools to disarm fear-based behaviors.

This TBRI® Overview Training will support caregivers and providers who seek to help children heal, learn, and grow through the implementation of the three TBRI® Principles:

• Connection—attention to attachment needs
• Empowerment—attention to physical needs
• Correction—attention to behavioral needs

This training is open to pre- and post-adoptive parents, as well as to community providers who support these families. It will be an in-person training with limited seating and is FREE. Certificates of completion will be provided at the end of training. CEUs are not offered. Childcare is not provided.
